Stockwood Park Academy seeks Artist to work with Year 11 Art Students

Stockwood Park Academy are looking to work with a professional artist to support their Year 11 GCSE Art students to explore new materials and techniques in preparation for their exams in 2018. They are particularly interested to hear from artists who can run workshops in printmaking, batik or a similar skill or technique.

The workshops will take place on the morning of Monday 5th February 2018, and they would be the same hour-long workshop repeated to three groups of 20+ students. A teacher and an art technician will be present and you will be in an art room. The fee of £250 includes VAT, prep, travel and materials, however if you need non-specialist materials regularly available in an art room please do let us know as the school may be able to provide them.

To make an expression of interest please email a brief outline of your workshop idea and your fee breakdown to eleanorh@bedfordcreativearts.org.uk by Monday 8th January. This commission is funded by the Bedfordshire + Milton Keynes Collaborative Outreach Network at the University of Bedfordshire and is only open to providers listed on The Culture Challenge website.
