This exhibition showcases a selection of recent works by artists who attend Headway Milton Keynes. It demonstrates a range of both individual and collaborative practices and gives a platform to a diverse group of artists. Much of the work is influenced by the local area, including architecture in Milton Keynes, as well as exploring more personal themes.

It is shown alongside the work of artist Sophie Bennett’s MA Inclusive Arts Practice research project, previously exhibited at the University of Brighton. Using drawing and painting as starting points, the research explores how the creation of a collaborative studio environment, which embraces changeable working relationships and personalized approaches to art-making, can enable people to overcome personal barriers and develop an artistic identity.
