Celebrate World Book Day with our providers!

World Book Day is on it’s way – are you ready? Here’s some ideas that you, your class or your school can use for inspiration to have a magical World Book Day!

Visit a library!

You can visit your local library for reading inspiration as well as activities and events that the library may have organized. Whether you’re in Dunstable or Putnoe, there is a library near you just waiting to be discovered!

Find out where your nearest library is to you whether you’re in Bedford or further afield in Central Bedfordshire.

Visit a bookstore!

Bookstores are a great way to gather inspiration and find reads old and new. Rogan’s Books is our local Bedford bookshop provider who is always busy putting on events, hosting authors and encouraging young people to make books a part of their everyday life. Rogan’s can host 30 minute sessions on World Book Day to talk to students about reading, writing and everything in between! Contact Rachel to find out more.

Dress up as your favourite character!

In the wonderful world of books and stories, there are so many beloved characters who we like to revisit time and time again. Why not dress up as your favourite character for World Book Day? Start thinking about the stories you love, which characters you enjoy and how you can bring that character to life!
