Ghanaian drumming & dance workshop available

Following several previous visits over the last few years, The Kakatsitsi Drummers are again visiting Milton Keynes to deliver drumming and dance workshops for local schools and community groups.

The group have been teaching for 21 years and have a wealth of experience running fun and informative sessions with children and young adults aged 4+, teaching about the role of music in West African culture. Indigenous People are an arts education charity who manage the group, co-ordinate their UK bookings and use the profits to run social enterprise programmes in Accra, Ghana.

The group are available from the 10th – 15th June, with other dates a possibility. Their prices start at as little as £200 + travel expenses, and they can work with up to 240 children over the course of a full day. For bookings/inquiries please contact: sam@indigenouspeople.org.uk
