The Culture Challenge, Music for Bedford Borough, the Philharmonia Orchestra, Bedford Music Co-operative and Pad Presents are working in partnership to bring live music to each of the 54 schools primary and lower schools in Bedford Borough through our crowdfunding campaign Gigs4kids.

Through the support of many individual music lovers in Bedford and Beyond, and the support of local businesses Bonfire CI, Bedford Heights, Future Legend Media and Woodhead Horns, and local schools Shortstown and Goldington Green, we have reached a whopping 92% of the campaign goal, and unlocked a £2522 pledge from Arts Council England.

If we achieve our goal, we will bring professional musicians into 54 schools, fund 30 tuition bursaries and a ‘learning to play’ pack for all year three children in Bedford Borough. Can you help us by donating a few pounds, or spreading the word?
