Gigs4Kids concert bookings are now open!
Gigs4Kids achieved it’s fundraising goal in November through generous contributions from partners, the citizens of Bedfordshire, school fundraisers and local organisations as well as friends further afield. The campaign achieved funding to deliver a concert in every primary and lower school in Bedford. Now the hard part is done… let the fun begin! Get Gigs4Kids in your school!
These free concerts are available to all year 3 pupils in Bedford Borough and, if space allows, to any other pupils and parents at your school. Ensembles are from the Philharmonia, the Bedford Music Co-op and from Music live, including the super cool Brass Funkeys (pictured).
Music for Bedford Borough have sent already sent booking forms to all schools. If you have not received a booking form, please e-mail music@bedford.gov.uk to request one. The form must be completed and returned by Wednesday 5th February and requires you to indicate three possible dates and fill in a baseline questionnaire. (They can’t guarantee you having a concert if your form is returned after this date). On the 12th February you will receive notification of which concert you will be having along with contact details of the performing group, so you can contact them directly to confirm arrangements.
