As part of the national Fun Palaces initiative BedPop are hosting a weekend of arts, creative and science workshops that are FREE for the community! A Fun Palace space is welcoming and open to all, bringing arts and sciences together, where everyone is an artist and everyone a scientist.

We will be in The Higgins, Bedford foyer with a open access workshop where you can create your own handmade animation by drawing, painting and scratching directly onto the surface of 16mm film. You’ll be able to see (and hear) your film projected in the museum! You can also have a go at making ‘living paintings’ by drawing on the film as it goes through the projector.

Suitable for all ages and abilities. Drop in – stay for as little or as long as you’d like.
