As you might already know, a major crowdfunding campaign has been launched to promote the joy of music for children and families in Bedford, by holding free live music gigs in all 54 primary schools in the borough. That campaign is called Gigs 4 Kids.

The campaign has been raised to tackle the diminishing number of opportunities for children to learn and experience music, due to major cuts to music provision, charges to families for music lessons, and a rising number of families struggling to get by, especially in poorer communities.

Our launch last week made a splash and we can’t believe the support we have already amassed and who we have reached with our social media teasers alone. Now the planning is done, all we need is your support.

We are asking the general public to donate to raise £1 per Year 3 child for the gigs and bursaries via crowdfunding. If you want to give to Gigs 4 Kids and help to change the lives of the children in Bedford Borough, please donate now! All we need is a #quidperkid to make #gigs4kids a reality.
