Sirens

Later in June, ZooCo present Sirens on Sat 29th Jun at 7:30pm.

Three Greek sirens find themselves washed up on Hastings beach. It’s 2018, and sitting around naked on rocks is no longer en vogue. But the sirens are still cursed: any man who hears their voice dies instantly.

Sirens at The Place

Award-winning Zoo Co sticks two fingers up at gender expectations using breathtaking visual storytelling, stunning projections and an electro-folk soundtrack. A Riot Grrrl inspired rebellion against social norms.

Sirens is creatively captioned and BSL inclusive, with a Deaf and hearing cast. We welcome d/Deaf and hearing audiences.

The performance was voted Editor’s Award Winner Edinburgh Fringe 2018.

Do you work with d/Deaf students? Are you working with students with complex needs? Are you looking for activities for non-neurotypical students?

We’re interested in connecting with schools and organisations who want to work with ZooCo in the future. ZooCo specialise in developing theatre shows with full accessibility and engagement.
