Hannah Delaney Dance

Hannah is a professionally trained dancer (University of Chichester, mapdance), working freelance in performance, teaching and project management roles (BEEE Creative, Emily O’Shea Company, Springs Dance Company, Dance Equation and others).

Hannah is a freelance dance artist, offering workshops in contemporary dance (experimental learning, release-based techniques and very physical movement, floor work, musicality, contact work, site-specific work), but also open level tap dance and ballet for young people of all ages and abilities.

Professional practice and creative workshops for young people (11 – 18) will be more demanding physically and creatively, but of the appropriate challenge level for the students to progress and develop dance experience/training.

Her approach to teaching offers an enjoyable, engaging and challenging environment, for students to explore movement for themselves, as well as in a group.

Bespoke workshop facilitating develops from Hannah’s teaching experience and desire to engage people through dance with meaning. Hannah is a keen researcher of themes that will enable her to deliver dance workshops to capture the attention of you and your group, suiting your interests and needs specifically. These can be curriculum inspired or Faith Dance workshops exploring the Catholic Christian faith.

A workshop booking can (and preferably will) result in performance or sharing of the young people’s dance experience and a chance to develop confidence in performance.

Hannah is also a trained Arts Award adviser: Discover, Explore, Bronze and Silver.
