Our programme of Out of the Classroom Experiences for schools reflects the strengths of our collections. Familiar themes and activities are designed to make the most of our galleries.

Sessions are cross-curricular in their approach. Our ‘hands-on’ learning activities use handling objects, costumes, and replicas to stimulate pupils’ imagination.

We incorporate art and creative activities into any visit, as required. Visit our exhibitions or book a practical art session with us to extend your curriculum offer.
