Let Teachers SHINE Grants of up to £15,000 are available to teachers working with students between the ages of 4 and 18 years, for innovative projects that raise attainment in literacy, numeracy and/or science amongst disadvantaged students.

Winning applicants will each receive a grant and other support to help get their projects off the ground.

SHINE requires that the project must:

• Be innovative – we want to see projects that aim to inspire children in new and exciting ways. 
• Target economically disadvantaged children – we use Pupil Premium eligibility as a general indicator of economic disadvantage. 
• Be scalable – we want to see projects which, if successful, can be scaled up and replicated easily, whether that be in other schools or areas, or working with a higher number of students.
