The programme for People Power Passion, the Pilot Year of Culture for Luton has been launched! The strategic vision for the arts, cultural and creative industries in Luton 2017-27, includes plans for a bid to be named UK City of Culture in 2025. As a result of this project, there are a number of associate and trainee roles related to People Power Passion which are now open for application.

The Associate Artist and Trainee programme is to ensure that People Power Passion equips local creatives with the skills they need to pursue sustainable careers in the arts. Associates and trainees will be expected to bring enthusiasm, ambition and an understanding of equality and diversity to the team. In return they will receive a daily fee or hourly rate, the opportunity to learn from exceptional national creatives, a skills-development plan and will be part of Luton’s pilot year of culture.
