I believe that for any individual to live, thrive and be an effective member of society, they need to recognise who they are and their place in society. Society can be viewed at a number of levels.
I specifically focus on Local, National & Global communities. I have in the past, explored this at different levels with young people to help them to understand both their value and self-worth; and their place in various levels of society.
In line with the above, I run various sessions around Human Value and Place in Society on areas inclusive of: The Concept of A Mosaic Perspective on What it means to be British. Who we are and the values, characteristics and interests we bring; What we share with others; The value and challenges of differences; Bringing everything together to create a mosaic – British Values & Religion – Self – Identity – The Value of You – Community – Understanding the Community that You Live in – 21st Century Britain – Making it Work – Global Citizenship – Opportunities, Responsibilities and Challenges – Global Citizenship – Opportunities, Responsibilities and Challenges. Other subjects specifically tailored to meet student needs.
“I think that Susan’s talk was very engaging in getting people interested in talking about things such as different cultures. I found that she had a very friendly and welcoming approach. By asking people specific questions, not only did she make it more interactive and engaging but also showed how culture and ethnicity issues affect everyone.” – Mukau, Milton Keynes College
Recent Project Information:
“The Mosaic Programme is a Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement programme stemming from my book, Consequences: Diversity to Mosaic Britain. The model views Culture & Diversity from the perspective of a Mosaic recognising our differences whilst also remembering the interests and values that we have in common. In previous years I’ve introduced the concept within education. Developing on this, I ran a full programme inclusive of an assembly and workshops in a school. “
My pricing is done on the basis of open discussions with schools on their requirement and budget.

Staff Training: I have carried out team build programmes for employees within organisation and can readily do within a school. I have a good understanding of the education set up, having served as a secondary school governor for close to 10 years. I can also train staff on the principles and process of my models so that they can help to ensure the learning becomes practically embedded across the school.
