I run craft workshops for adults and children. I run crafty parties and have attended events specifically aimed at children (e.g. BedPop Science Lab where I ran Bath Bomb Workshops).

My workshops give children the confidence to be creative, and I teach skills that are easily replicated at home. I always use materials that are easily found at home.

I teach children to re-use or re-purpose things that might otherwise end up in a landfill, e.g. old books into flowers, old clothes into hand-sewn items. This hopefully sparks an interest in looking for alternative ways to use things.

I also run workshops for adults and would happily teach adults easy crafts that they could then teach to students. My workshops are a great social event, ideal for team building - you'd be amazed at the conversations that happen when participants are engaged in a craft and eye contact is not expected - it seems much easier to start conversations and people on my workshops find them a really relaxing and bonding experience.
