I’m an experienced illustrator who specialises in food & drink, maps and children’s books. I can provide a variety of different activities for children.

I offer children’s food illustrating workshops, imaginary map workshops, storytelling illustration, poster making, and am happy to link these activities to curriculum needs. I worked as an Art Club teacher after graduating from University and am comfortable working with children of all ages.

In 2016, I was one of 10 artists to run workshops with local schools to celebrate the Harpur Trust’s 450th Anniversary. The artworks were exhibited at The Higgins and other venues in and around Bedfordshire. It was a pleasure to be involved.

I recently worked on ‘Maps Of The United Kingdom’ with Quarto Kids. Please look out for my illustrations in local bookstores!

Livi delivered a really successful series of three Illustration Workshops to our Year 7 pupils looking at our Locality. Livi began by showing the pupils her extensive portfolio, explaining the different media that she uses and told the children about her work as a professional illustrator. The children were fascinated by Livi’s style of illustration and felt completely at ease with her, asking thoughtful questions which Livi answered in detail.

“Livi’s use of maps inspired the pupils to think about using different viewpoints for recording the locality. Livi demonstrated the use of ink and watercolour techniques which were accessible to all pupils’ the boys and girls were all happy to try the new techniques. Livi gave one to one help where needed, had a great rapport with the pupils and was encouraging to all.”

“Livi introduced a collage-style of illustration, which was new to the pupils, and Livi’s excellent examples of her own work were both helpful and inspirational.” – Ali Boston, Newnham Middle School

“The children were very interested in Livi’s work and the examples she brought with her. Livi has a warm and approachable manner, so she quickly developed a good rapport with the group. She explained the task clearly and used a model she had prepared, so that the children understood exactly what they were working towards. Livi supported the group well, especially with a few children who at first found the activities difficult, but with 1:1 support they were able to access the task fully. The children really enjoyed the day and were able to share their learning about the Romans and their invasion of Britain.” – Sarah Stott, Queen’s Park Academy
