The University of Bedfordshire’s Arts and Culture team would like to inform you of the upcoming TestBeds conference, based at their Luton Campus, taking place on 21st – 23rd March 2019. There’s no need to book at this stage, but do save the date if this is something you’d be interested in attending.

This year’s theme, Strategic Partnerships Between Arts Organisations and Higher Education Institutions in the Development of the UK Creative Economy will focus on current entrepreneurship practices in the commercial start-up and technology industries. By immersing artists and creative practitioners in a University-led hothouse for creative innovation, TestBeds pushes them to consider the social, economic, environmental and technological contexts that impact their work. Ideas incubation, partnership creation and business skills-development all aid artists in considering their practice in entrepreneurial contexts to inform new creative businesses.
