BedFringe presents That’s How the Light Gets In

Storyteller Mark Steinhardt is one of our Cultural Providers who will be returning to the popular BedFringe festival for the seventh year. His latest performance, That’s How the Light Gets In, takes audiences on a journey of witchcraft in seventeenth century France and Spain.

Northern Spain. The early seventeenth century. Maria, twenty years old, took one of the mountain paths south through the Pyrenees, crossed from France into Spain and arrived at her home village. She was carrying an infection, an infection of the mind. Witchcraft. The disease spread from village to village through the mountains, terrifying everyone, threatening complete social collapse.
