Our Bedford-based Cultural Providers The Place Theatre invite you to their upcoming production of The Yule Lads!
It’s December in Iceland and it’s nearly Christmas, which means that the mischievous Yule Lads will soon be visiting. Thomas is excited and determined he’s going to stay up and meet his favourite, Sausage Swiper. The Yule Lads have never been seen by a human being though, so who knows what will happen if he manages to catch a glimpse..?
Blending Iceland’s seasonal legend of the Yule Lads with original songs and music written specially for the show, this is a heart-warming tale of overcoming adversity, friendship and the spirit of adventure.
Show dates are 19th-29th December at The Place Theatre, Bedford.
All performances will be ‘relaxed’ to allow them to be as accessible as possible for people from all different areas of the community, including those less familiar with visiting the theatre. The shows at 6.30pm on Thursday 20thDecember and at 2pm on Friday 28th December will be Extra Live performances, especially suitable for audience members with special needs.
