The Grove Theatres Talking Tales 2019 World Book Day show was a fantastic celebration of all things storytelling.

To help them celebrate World Book Day, The Grove Theatre would like to introduce to you to Talking Tales Two! Meet Alex; whose love of reading means that some of the other children in school think he isn’t that cool! Alex is feeling fed up; fed up of school and being picked on but one afternoon he discovers the magical library of Pomruf where an adventure ensues which transforms Alex’s life.

With characters from some of the most loved story books, Talking Tales Two! will enchant, inspire and engage your children.

Based for those in the primary year groups, this is a wonderful opportunity to promote live storytelling to young children through drama, singing and visualisation as well as exploring new ways of looking at classic fairy tales. The performance will encourage the children to use their imagination and join Alex on his wonderful adventure.

After the performance there will be prize’s given out for two of the best dressed World Book Day attendees who will win a family cinema ticket for a screening of their choice.

There are two performance at 10am and 1pm on Thursday 5th March. Tickets are priced at £3 per person with a great offer of buy 10 tickets and receive the 11th free.
