Mark Rutherford School in Bedford have a vacancy for an Art Technician. The hours are 20 hours per week,  Monday to Friday – 9am to 1pm during term time only. The expected start date is 4th January 2019 with interviews during the week commencing 3rd December 2018.

Job Profile

Mark Rutherford Art Department require an enthusiastic, committed and flexible person to join their team. You will be interested in art/photography and have experience of working in a school or similar environment and will be committed to providing a quality support service to teaching staff within the department.

The department encourages individual creativity within a defined curriculum. We draw on each other’s skills to create an environment of best practice and knowledge sharing to develop an approach that encourages student learning and progress. You will be organised and methodical and able to work independently to provide this support. You must be a good communicator and be flexible to meet the varying challenges of the role.
