This year, Milton Keynes based Westbury Arts Centre are launching the Milton Keynes Open, an art exhibition to champion local creatives. They are inviting all artists to apply, whether working in paint, print, photography or other mediums. They know hidden talents exist in the community and are hoping that this event will actively encourage local creatives to engage with the Arts Centre.

For those that do not know, Westbury Arts Centre is a creative hub in Shenley Wood, Milton Keynes, based in a Grade II listed 17th Century farmhouse and barn. The centre currently has 19 studios for artists/creative practitioners. They deliver a varied programme of exhibitions, workshops and public events across a range of disciplines delivered by both internal and external artists.
